Warriors guard Monta Ellis was released from a Bay Area hospital Monday morning after suffering a Grade 2 concussion from a nasty fall in Sunday night's game.

A CT scan was negative, according to the team.
Ellis will not play tonight when the Warriors take on the Nuggets in Denver or in Wednesdays season-finale against the Portland Trail Blazers at Oracle Arena.
With under a minute remaining against the Kings, Ellis drove into the lane and got thrown off-balance while trying to finish against Kings power forward DeMarcus Cousins. He landed awkwardly and appeared to hit the side of his head on the hardwood floor.
Ellis remained on the ground for a minute or so and when he got up appeared woozy.

Anytime you have a smaller guy get airborne like that and hit the floor without someone breaking the fall, its always scary, Warriors coach Keith Smart said Sunday night. You dont want to see a guy you have great belief in lying on the floor and not knowing where he is.
Ellis had said earlier this season that one of his goals was to play the full 82 games. Hell finish playing 80 total games. Ellis leads the NBA with 40.3 minutes per game.
