49ers' offseason scorecard: Signings, departures, draft picks

General manager John Lynch and the 49ers' front office did thorough work during free agency to set the table for the NFL Draft.

And that led the 49ers to complete a blockbuster trade with the Miami Dolphins to move up from No. 12 overall to the third pick in the draft.

The 49ers added their quarterback of the future with the selection of North Dakota State's Trey Lance. Then, they added two running backs, two offensive linemen and three defensive backs during the remainder of the draft to accomplish just about everything they set out to do this offseason.
