Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski is one of 23 playersthat will be joining the U.S. Mens National Team, competing at the 2014 WorldCup qualifiers.U.S. Mens National Team head coach, Jurgen Klinsmannfinalized the roster Friday.
Having full confidence in preparing his team for the 2014FIFA World Cup qualifiers Klinsmann stated, We have chosen the 23 players whoare in the best form right now and ready to get the job done. Beginning on May 26, the U.S. Mens National Team will firstappear with their new roster in a Five-Game tournament against Scotland inJacksonville, Fla. Klinsmann has designed a month-long series of games andtraining sessions to best represent what the team will be facing in atournament format. Incorporating aspects of travel, nutrition, logistics andthe rhythm of team movement, Klinsmann hopes to embody a performance drivenenvironment.The UnitedStates will start its run for theseventh-consecutive FIFA World Cup on June 8th at Raymond JamesStadium, hosting Antigua & Barbuda.
