The 49ers continued to rebuild their roster, signing cornerback Phillip Davis to a three-year contract Tuesday.

Davis starred at Tulane, where he appeared in 46 games, recording 123 tackles, four interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a sack.
Davis earned first-team All-Conference USA honors in 2010, starting all 12 games and leading the Green Wave in passes defensed with 12.
He will wear No. 33.
