The Giants have placed Andres Torres on the DL, and recalled Brandon Belt from Triple-A Fresno, the team announced via Twitter.

In Friday night's loss Torres fouled a ball off of his shin, sending him to the DL.
Belt went 2-for-4 on Friday night for Triple-A Fresno, including a go-ahead three-run HR in the bottom of the 6th.
The Giants still have not made a decision on whether or not to place Carlos Beltran on the DL.
