CSNCalifornia.comRaiders CEO Amy Trask spoke on behalf of the organization in a conference call with beat writers Sunday evening, addressing the shooting incidents outside of Candlestick Park following the Raiders-49ers exhibition game the night before.
"The overwhelming majority of our fans are really, really terrific people, as are the overwhelming majority of the fans for all teams -- the 49ers and every other team in the league," Trask said. "Every team in every sport has a handful of fans that don't comport themselves appropriately, so let's not rush to judgment about fans of one team, based on the actions of a few. We all know how pernicious stereotyping is and we all know better than to stereotype, so let's not use the few to stereotype the many."
