Crabtree, Goldson inactive for 49ers vs. Cowboys

SAN FRANCISCO -- Receiver Michael Crabtree and safety Dashon Goldson will not suit up for the 49ers on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys due to injuries.Crabtree (foot) and Goldson (knee) took part in limited practice last week and were among the 49ers' seven inactive players announced 90 minutes prior to kickoff on Sunday. It is the first regular-season game Crabtree has missed due to injury in his 49ers career.
The 49ers' other inactive players are quarterback Scott Tolzien, guard Daniel Kilgore, guard Mike Person, nose tackle Ian Williams and defensive end Demarcus Dobbs.Cowboys second-year receiver Dez Bryant is not active for the game after sustaining a thigh contusion while returning a punt in the season-opener. Kevin Ogletree, a third-year pro, will start in place of Bryant. Ogletree has 12 career receptions for 142 yards and no touchdowns in 18 games.The Cowboys will be without two of their top three cornerbacks, as Terence Newman and Orlando Scandrick (ankle) are out with injuries. Alan Ball will start at left cornerback.Left guard Bill Nagy (neck) will not suit up. His spot in the starting lineup will be filled by nine-year veteran Derrick Dockery. The Cowboys' other inactive players are quarterback Stephen McGee, guard David Arkin and defensive end Clifton Geathers.
