OAKLANDEvery Raiders home game is Halloween on Hegenberger, so there doesnt seem to be a whole lot different in how fans are coming dressed up today for the game against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Black Hole has long been deemed a huge homefield advantage. But check this out: the Raiders are only 1-2-1 at home on Halloween. In 1971, the Raiders tied the Kansas City Chiefs, 20-20. In 1976, they beat the Denver Broncos, 19-6. In 1993, in Los Angeles, the Raiders fell to the San Diego Chargers, 30-23. And in 1999, back in Oakland, the Raiders lost to the Miami Dolphins, 16-9.Overall, the Raiders are just 1-4-1 on Halloween, getting outscored by a combined 141-79, with their most ignominious showing the 42-14 beatdown they endured at San Diego in 2004.Anyone check out the NFL Networks show last night naming the Top 10 Raiders of all time?
