LOS ANGELES -- After a couple of nice games, Warriors power forward David Lee had a struggle of it Sunday night in a 107-83 loss to the Lakers.
Lee went scoreless in 19 minutes, the first time he went without a point in a game since 2007. Lee went 0-for-3 from the field and 0-for-2 from the foul line, and also had five turnovers.

"It was one of those nights," Warriors coach Keith Smart said. "He's been great all year long, from the preseason on. In 82 games, you're going to have nights like that. I took him out because he didn't have the pop he normally has. I think he understood that."
The last time Lee went scoreless in a game was on Nov. 30, 2007, in a game against the Milwaukee Bucks. It seemed apparent Lee had a tough time finding openings among the bigger, taller Laker defenders on the interior.
"I've got to find a way to get in a rhythm early," Lee said. "From the jump they were beating us on the boards and made sure we didn't get anything easy. And this is also without (center Andrew) Bynum. They're even longer than this usually. What's tough about it was we were boxing out on a lot of plays and we were jumping for the rebounds and they were getting tip-ins standing still."
Jeremy Lin got into the game with 11:22 remaining in the third quarter, subbing for Reggie Williams, who was struggling. It was the earliest Lin has gotten into a game this season.
At the 4:57 mark of the third period, Lin scored the first points of his NBA career, when he took a pass on the fastbreak from Dorell Wright and layed it in. That capped a 9-0 run that brought the Warriors within 68-53.

"He made a big step in his development tonight," Smart said. "A big step."
