BOX SCORE

A late Oregon State fumble in the fourth quarter led to a Kevin Hogan 14-yard touchdown pass to tight end Zach Ertz , and No. 14 Stanford pulled out a 27-23 victory over No. 11 Oregon State on Saturday.

In a matchup that pinned two top 20 schools in the Pac-12 against each other, it was the Beavers that did not allow the Cardinal to score for two whole quarters -- from the end of the first quarter to the end of the third quarter.

Stanford jumped out to an early 14-0 lead, but Oregon State stormed back for 23 straight points in the midst of two Cardinal turnovers. Stanford managed to score on a 4-yard TD pass to Stepfan Taylor to pull within two points before the Beavers' Cody Vaz fumbled in Oregon State territory. It led to a six-play, 29-yard drive that ended in Hogan's game-winning TD pass to Ertz.
