CINCINNATI -- The sun just poked through the sky here at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday a couple hours before kickoff. The temperature at kickoff and throughout the game is expected to remain in the mid-70s.

On the field, Cincinnati Bengals receiver Jerome Simpson is going through warmups. He is expected to play after a package containing 2 12 pounds of marijuana was tracked to his home Tuesday in northern Kentucky. There has been no arrest or charges in the case.
Bengals rookie quarterback Andy Dalton was making the rounds before the game. Dalton spoke with 49ers rookie quarterback Colin Kaepernick, and spent several minutes, along with Bengals rookie receiver Ryan Whalen, speaking with 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman. Whalen played for Roman at Stanford.

The inactive players for both teams will be announced 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
