49ers' Brandon Jacobs repays fan's kind gesture

No matter what any cynic says, sometimes good deeds do go unpunished, and on very special occasions are even rewarded. The San Francisco 49ers newest running back Brandon Jacobs repaid one young fans heartfelt gesture with a visit to a bounce house and an afternoon to remember.

Six-year old New York Giants fan Joseph Armento wanted Jacobs to remain in New York so badly that he cracked open his piggy bank and donated all the money he had in order to entice him to stay. 3.36 may not have been enough to stop the transaction, but it certainly made an impact on Jacobs.

REWIND: Young fan's 'Giant' gesture touches Jacobs
On his Twitter feed Jacobs expressed interest in meeting the boy with the now-empty bank account, and made good on his promise when he took Armento, along with his own son, to a bounce house in New Jersey called Jump On In. The group played for hours.

As if spending the afternoon with his favorite player werent enough, Armento also made a profit on his investment: a signed football helmet and a cool 5. The extra 1.64 will go a long way toward rebuilding Armentos former savings, but the experience, for both Jacobs and his young fan, is much more valuable than just money.

A pro football career has the potential for uncertainty, but as Brandon Jacobs was quoted, "Joe believes in me...I'm ready to go."
