Free-agent running back Anthony Dixon is visiting the Buffalo Bills on Friday, the club announced.

Dixon saw limited time on offense for the 49ers as a backup running back and fullback. The 49ers selected him in the sixth round of the 2010 draft. He rushed 148 times for 458 yards and eight touchdowns in four seasons. He was also a core special-teams contributor.

Dixon, admittedly was frustrated by his lack of playing time, visited with the Tennessee Titans earlier this week. He is not expected to return to the 49ers.
