SANTA CLARA -- Wide receiver Michael Crabtree made it through a full practice Wednesday after the 49ers removed him from the physically unable to perform list a day earlier.

Crabtree, who is returning to action from a torn Achilles tendon sustained in May, appears to be on pace to make his season debut Sunday against the St. Louis Rams.

Mario Manningham (knee) did not practice. Manningham caught a season-high four passes for 45 yards Monday night against Washington.

Rookie receiver Quinton Patton, who has been out of action since Sept. 26 with a broken right foot, returned to limited practice on Wednesday.
