John Becker has been named the 49ers new senior personnel advisor, the team announced Tuesday.In his 18th year in player personnel, Becker began his career as the Director of College Scouting for the Rams, then held positions with the Colts until his retirement in 2008.We are very excited to add someone with Johns extensive knowledge of the NFL to the 49ers personnel department, 49ers General Manager Trent Baalke said. His experience in both coaching and player personnel will be extremely valuable to our organization.Becker was also the offensive coordinator of the Indianapolis Colts from 1987-'88 and the Seattle Seahawks from 1989-'91.
