Following his release from Buffalo, he spent time with the Houston Texans before re-signing with the Browns on March 12, 2015.

He was released from the Browns on September 5, 2015, and signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on September 21, 2015 where he spent the remainder of the season.

A 28-year-old native of Hialeah, FL, Lewis started four seasons at Duke University (2006-09) where he appeared in 47 games and set school records for career passing yards (10,065) and passing touchdowns (67).
