ORLANDO, Fla. -- The 49ers and cornerback Perrish Cox have agreed to terms on a one-year deal, according to a source.
Cox, 27, played nine regular-season games with the 49ers and two with the Seattle Seahawks before the 49ers re-signed him for the playoffs.
The 49ers released Cox on Nov. 12. He latched on with the Seahawks. The 49ers re-signed Cox on Dec. 30 after he was released by the Seahawks the week prior. Cox ended up leap-frogging Eric Wright on the depth chart as the nickel back for the 49ers' first two playoff games while Carlos Rogers was out with a hamstring strain.
