49ers-Seahawks matchups to watch

SANTA CLARA – The Seattle Seahawks are likely to be without starting cornerback Brandon Browner on Sunday night when they play host to the 49ers in a key NFC West matchup.
Browner is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game with a hamstring strain. He did not participate in any practices this week. Walter Thurmond will start at right cornerback in place of Browner.
Defensive end Chris Clemons, who is returning from a torn knee ligament he sustained in the playoffs, is listed as questionable on the Seahawks' injury report. Clemons and defensive end Cliff Avril were full participants in practice on Thursday and Friday. Avril is listed as probable.
Meanwhile, third-string running back LaMichael James is the only player who appears on the 49ers’ injury report. He has not practiced since sustaining a left knee sprain in the 49ers' final exhibition game. He will not be available for Sunday's game.
