Receiver Ted Ginn, the hero of the 49ers' Week 1 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, is not expected to get a chance to duplicate his heroics on Saturday.Ginn did not practice Friday, and is unlikely to play against the Seattle Seahawks due to an ankle sprain.Ginn had a 102-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and a minute later added a 55-yard punt return for a touchdown in the closing minutes after the Seahawks had cut the 49ers' lead to two points. Thanks to Ginn, the 49ers were a 33-17 winner in Jim Harbaugh's debut as coach.
Linebacker Patrick Willis will be a game-time decision Saturday for the 49ers. Willis has not played since sustaining a right hamstring strain Dec. 4 against the St Louis Rams. Willis took part in limited practice Thursday and Friday. Every NFL team must submit their list of seven inactive players 90 minutes before kickoff.
Ginn, Willis, receiver Braylon Edwards (knee) and fullback Bruce Miller (knee) are listed as questionable for the game on the 49ers' official injury report. Edwards and Miller will be available to play in the game.Special-teams standout Blake Costanzo returned to 49ers practice Friday, as CSNBayArea.com previously reported. Costanzo was excused to attend his grandmother's funeral in New Jersey.For the Seahawks, undrafted rookie receiver Doug Baldwin is questionable with an ankle injury.
