Even with Frank Gore, Marcus Lattimore, Kendall Hunter and LaMichael James under contract, the 49ers are taking a look at some running backs for the upcoming draft.

Towson running back Terrance West is scheduled to meet with the 49ers on Monday, his agent confirmed. This week, the 49ers hosted Central Florida running back Storm Johnson.

West (5 foot 9 ¼, 225 pounds) averaged 6.1 yards an attempt and rushed for 2,509 yards and 41 touchdowns as a junior before declaring early for the NFL draft. West has 11 visits scheduled, including a reported trip Wednesday to meet with the Seattle Seahawks.

NFLDraftScout.com ranks West as a third-round prospect. The 49ers have a scheduled six draft picks within the top 100 in the May 8-10 draft.
