Fifth round selection Aaron Lynch and seventh round pick Kaleb Ramsey signed four-year contracts with the 49ers, the team announced Tuesday evening.

Lynch, an outside linebacker out of South Florida who could be used a pass-rush specialist, will wear No. 59.

The 49ers selected the former Notre Dame star despite the fact he is seen as a player with character issues.

Former South Florida head strength and conditioning coach, Hans Straub, was one such critic of the 49ers' selection.

"Thought an organization with 5 Super Bowl titles would have a stricter draft criteria. Clearly, integrity & character are not a priority," Straub tweeted following the pick last Saturday.

It cost him his job Tuesday afternoon.

Ramsey, a defensive lineman who could play tackle or end, will wear No. 60 during the offseason program.
