49ers slated for single-digit selections in 2015 draft

The 49ers can be expected to pick up two compensatory selections for the 2015 NFL draft. After making 12 selections in this year’s draft, the 49ers tentatively have nine picks in next year’s draft.

49ERS 2015 DRAFT PICKS
1. First round: Own pick
2. Second round: Own pick
3. Third round: Own pick
4. Fourth round: Pick from Denver (draft day trade, 2014)
Own pick (conditional) traded to Bills for WR Stevie Johnson.
5. Fifth round: Own pick
6. Sixth round: Own pick
*7. Sixth round: Possible compensatory pick
8. Seventh round: Pick from Indianapolis (trade for OLB Cam Johnson, 2013)
*9. Seventh round: Possible compensatory pick
Own pick (conditional) traded to Dolphins for OL Jonathan Martin.

Notes
--The 49ers will send a conditional 2015 pick to the Jaguars if backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert reaches certain levels of playing time.
--The 49ers will reclaim their own seventh-round pick if Martin does not make the 53-man roster out of training camp.
--The 49ers will send the Bills a third-round pick (instead of a fourth-rounder) if Johnson reaches unknown production levels.
