The 49ers traded away a fourth-round pick in the 2015 draft to acquire wide receiver Stevie Johnson from the Buffalo Bills.

Then, the 49ers moved back one spot in the second round, gave up a seventh-round pick and re-claimed a fourth-round selection next year in the process.

The 49ers traded a pick in the second round, 56th overall pick, to the Denver Broncos. The 49ers received the Broncos’ pick at No. 63 in the second round, as well as the Broncos’ fifth-round pick at No. 171 and their fourth-round selection in 2015. The 49ers also sent the Broncos the No. 242 overall pick in the seventh round.

The Broncos took wide receiver Cody Latimier at No. 56, and the 49ers traded with the Miami Dolphins to select running back Carlos Hyde at No. 57. The 49ers gave Nos. 63 and 171, both of which were acquired from the Broncos.

The 49ers dealt their original pick of No. 61 to the Jacksonville Jaguars to move back to No. 70 overall, as well as pick up No. 150 overall (a fifth-round selection).

The 49ers have nine picks remaining:
