SANTA CLARA -- The 49ers complied with the first round of NFL cuts on Tuesday.
Defensive linemen Lawrence Okoye (right knee) and Lamar Divens were waived/injured. Okoye's injury is not expected to keep him out for the entire season. The 49ers will retain Okoye's rights, coach Jim Harbaugh said, and it's possible he could end up on the 49ers' practice squad before the end of the season.
The 49ers' other transactions consisted of players being placed on reserve lists, including cornerback Chris Culliver, who sustained a torn left ACL in training camp. Culliver is not eligible to return at any point this season.

On Monday, the 49ers traded outside linebacker Parys Haralson to the New Orleans Saints.
