Running back Anthony Dixon revealed he is scheduled to make a free-agent visit to the Tennessee Titans on Wednesday.

Dixon, who was frustrated by his lack of playing time on the 49ers’ offense, carried just 28 times for 56 yards for the 49ers during the regular season. In the postseason, he had two rushing attempts, including a 1-yard touchdown run against the Seattle Seahawks.

In four seasons, Dixon had 148 rushing attempts for 458 yards and eight touchdowns. The 49ers selected him in the sixth round of the 2010 draft.

Dixon wrote on Twitter that he’s “excited to meet with my guy Sylverster Croom.” Croom, who coached Dixon at Mississippi State, is the Titans running backs coach.
