SAN FRANCISCO – Wide receiver Michael Crabtree is set to make his season debut on Sunday, as he will be in uniform for the first time this season.

Crabtree, who sustained a torn Achilles in May, is among the 46 active players for the 49ers’ game Sunday at Candlestick Park against the St. Louis Rams. The 49ers list Crabtree as a starter over Mario Manningham.

Crabtree led the 49ers with 85 catches for 1,105 yards and nine touchdowns last season. With Crabtree's return, the 49ers deactivated wide receiver Jon Baldwin, who has has three receptions for 28 yards in seven games. The 49ers acquired Baldwin in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs for A.J. Jenkins.

Defensive lineman Ray McDonald will return to the lineup for the 49ers after missing two games with a high ankle sprain.
