Forbes' NFL valuations: 49ers leapfrog Washington

Forbes released its annual NFL valuations on Wednesday, and the 49ers continue to trend in the right direction.

The franchise is now worth an estimated $3 billion, the fourth highest mark in the NFL.

Revenue: $446 million
Operating income: $154 million
"The 49ers have teamed up with Amazon to offer tailgaters one-hour Prime Now so that fans who tailgate before games outside Levi's Stadium can order food, drinks, and more from Amazon and have it delivered in one hour or less."

Last year, the 49ers were valued at $2.7 billion, good for fifth in the league.

The Cowboys ($4.2 billion), Patriots ($3.4 billion) and Giants ($3.1 billion) are the Top 3.

Washington was third last year at $2.85 billion, and checks in at fifth this year at $2.95 billion.

Forbes valued the 49ers at $1.6 billion and $1.224 billion in 2014 and 2013 respectively.
