Washington tight end Derek Carrier suffered a season-ending knee injury in Sunday’s win over the Bears, a source confirmed to CSN Mid-Atlantic.

Carrier becomes the third player at that position to go down with a significant injury this season, joining Niles Paul and Logan Paulsen, who were lost in the preseason.

Carrier, the team's No. 2 tight end behind Jordan Reed, has a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee. The third-year player was injured on Washington’s second drive on a routine-looking tackle following a short reception over the middle.
