Frank Gore has passed Roger Craig to move to second on the 49ers' all-time rushing yards list.
Gore eclipsed Craig's mark on a two-yard run with just over nine minutes left in the 3rd quarter to give him 7,065 for his career.
Joe Perry is the 49ers all-time leading rusher with 7,344 yards.
With his 103 yards in the first half Gore also has rushed for over 100 yards for the fourth straight game.
Safety Eric Reid will miss at least one game with a left knee sprain, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said during a conference call on Monday.
Shanahan said Reid will definitely miss the 49ers’ game Thursday night against the Los Angeles Rams at Levi’s Stadium. The injury is likely to keep Reid out of action for more than just one game, Shanahan said.
Reid was forced to leave Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks on three separate occasions. The first time he left the game in the second quarter with a non-contact injury. Shanahan said the injury is to Reid’s posterior cruciate ligament. The injury will not require surgery, Shanahan said.
The 49ers are not sure on the status of safety Jaquiski Tartt for Thursday's game. Shanahan said Tartt is questionable with a neck injury.
“I know he was hurting today," Shanahan said. "We’ll see how he is when he comes in tomorrow."
Tartt and Reid have started both games. Jimmie Ward returned to action on Sunday after missing all of training camp with a hamstring injury. Rookies Lorenzo Jerome and Adrian Colbert are the only other safeties on the 49ers' roster.
The 49ers have a short week as they get set to host the Rams on Thursday night.
To help with scouting, the 49ers signed tackle Pace Murphy to their practice squad on Monday. Murphy was waived by the Rams on Sept. 2.
