It gets to be badgering. It gets old. I covered it thoroughly yesterday. I don’t feel like there is anything more to say about it at this time.

SANTA CLARA –- Tight end Vernon Davis and guard Alex Boone continued their holdouts Wednesday on the second day of the 49ers’ mandatory minicamp.

“As I said yesterday, I’ll just reiterate that I was disappointed in the decision not to come to the minicamp,” 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said Wednesday. “(I) didn’t call anybody out. There was no call out of anybody.”

On Tuesday, Harbaugh said the holdouts of Davis and Boone are “not the decision I envision being the 49er way.”

Both players stand to be fined nearly $70,000 apiece for their refusal to take part in the mandatory camp. Harbaugh insisted he was not “calling out” Davis and Boone –- both of whom are under contract to the 49ers for two more seasons. He strongly disagreed with on any suggestion he was taking shots at his two absent players.

“I thought that was ridiculous,” Harbaugh said. “And then, the second point is that we’re going to keep the focus on what is going on here, who is here and the players that we’re coaching. We’re going to have a heck of a day today, and that’s where the focus is going to be. So, we covered it yesterday and today we’re focusing on guys that are here.

“To answer the three, four, five follow-up questions, it gets to be badgering. It gets old. I covered it thoroughly yesterday. I don’t feel like there is anything more to say about it at this time.”
