Last week, Jim Harbaugh's wife, Sarah, crusaded against her husband's "dad pants."
On Wednesday, Jim Harbaugh engaged in the following conversation regarding his pants:
Question: Are those the good pants you’re wearing today?
Harbaugh: “The good pants?”
Question: Yeah, the one in the ad when you were barbecuing and stuff. Are those, those pants?
Harbaugh: “No, no.”
Question: How many pairs of those do you have? The good pants.
Harbaugh: “Quite a few. Quite a few new ones.”
Reporter: Yeah, you oughta wear’em down here sometime.
Reporter: Snap up the image.
Harbaugh: “I still kind of like the loose fitting.”
Reporter: Yeah, OK. When you get older.
Harbaugh: “I’m already old.”
Reporter: Me too.
Harbaugh: “I’m proud of that. It’s a blessing to grow old. Some people aren’t afforded that luxury.”
Reporter: I understand that.
Harbaugh: “Or that blessing.”
As Matt Maiocco previously reported, Harbaugh, who enters the fourth year of a five-year, $25 million contract with the 49ers, earned approximately $1 million last year in endorsement deals with team sponsors.
