SANTA CLARA – Pro Bowl guard Mike Iupati might be sidelined for another week, coach Jim Harbaugh indicated on Friday.
Iupati, who sustained partially torn MCL in his left knee on Nov. 17 against the New Orleans Saints, is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
“There’s still a possibility,” Harbaugh said of Iupati’s chance of playing on Sunday after missing three games.
The 49ers traveled to Tampa on Friday afternoon following their final practice of the week. Cornerback Tarell Brown is the only other player who might not be ready to play due to an injury. Brown sustained internal ribs injuries on Nov. 17.
Wide receiver Mario Manningham (knee) and tight end Vance McDonald (ankle) are also listed as questionable – just as they were last week before playing against Seattle.
Michael Crabtree received treatment during the week for a slight ankle sprain, but he is not expected to be impacted in Sunday's game.
