In three years as the San Francisco 49ers' head coach, Jim Harbaugh has a 29-10 record. (USATSI)

The proverbial gun-slinger mentality was back for Jim Harbaugh on Saturday afternoon in London.

In a 49ers’ pep rally the head coach threw a toy football into the crowd, much to the delight of 49ers Lawrence Okoye, NaVarro Bowman and Patrick Willis, with no sight of landing.

The 49ers’ official Instagram account posted the video with the following caption:

“Harbaugh...still got it. #LaserRocketArm #UK49ers #NFLUK”

Harbaugh, a first-round pick out of Michigan in 1987, threw for 129 touchdowns, 117 interceptions and 26,288 yards in his 14-year NFL career.

Following his playing career, Harbaugh coached quarterbacks for the Oakland Raiders in 2002 and 2003. He then went on to become the head coach at the University of San Diego for three years before coaching at Stanford University for four years. Since becoming the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers in 2011, he has led the team to a 29-10 record.

He hasn’t played a professional game since 2000.
