Referee Ed Hochuli has been assigned to officiate the 49ers’ NFC playoff game Sunday against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, according to footballzebras.com.

Hochuli and his crew worked the 49ers-Jacksonville game in London this season. The last time Hochuli was the referee for a 49ers playoff game was in January 2012 in the NFC Championship game. The 49ers lost to the New York Giants in overtime at Candlestick Park.

It will be Hochuli's 22nd postseason game in his 22nd year as an NFL referee. He has worked two Super Bowls.

Hochuli and his crew are no strangers to bad-weather games. He was the referee on a snow-covered field for the Detroit-at-Philadelphia game on Dec. 8.
