SANTA CLARA -- The 49ers reportedly will be losing another assistant coach.

Former Washington State head coach Paul Wulff, who has served the past two seasons as 49ers senior offensive assistant, has accepted the South Florida offensive coordinator position, reports WSU website Cougfan.com.

Coach Jim Harbaugh on Wednesday declined to confirm Wulff’s appointment on the staff of South Florida coach Willie Taggart, who coached running backs for Harbaugh at Stanford from 2007 to ’09.

Recently, 49ers assistant offensive line coach Tim Drevno accepted a position as line coach and run game coordinator at USC.

Offensive coordinator Greg Roman has reportedly interviewed for the Penn State head-coaching job. He is also reportedly a candidate to for NFL coaching vacancies in Minnesota and Washington. Vic Fangio and Jim Tomsula have also drawn interest, Harbaugh said this week.

When asked about the challenge of keeping his staff's focus on their jobs with the 49ers, Harbaugh answered, “I know our people and their focus is right here, on this game.”
