Richard Sherman will appear tonight on Discovery Channel's "American Muscle," a new sports-documentary show, and reportedly has some powerful words for Michael Crabtree.
"I hope to play him every year for the rest of my career and choke him out," Sherman says. "There’s not much else I can say about the subject. Nobody will understand it but him and me. That’s all that needs to understand."
In the final seconds of last season's NFC title game, Sherman sealed Seattle's trip to the Super Bowl by tipping a potential-game winning pass intended for Crabtree, that was intercepted by linebacker Malcom Smith.
“I’m the best corner in the game,” Sherman shouted during his postgame interview with FOX’s Erin Andrews, “when you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that’s the result you’re going to get.”
The first matchup between the 49ers and Seahawks this season is at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara on Thanksgiving Night.
The second meeting is 17 days later in Seattle.
