Dont count CBS Sports among those buying into the RandyMoss hype.CBS Sports asked its NFL writers for their take on a varietyof overunder questions ranging from sacks by Jason Pierre-Paul to starts forMark Sanchez. On the question of whether Randy Moss would have more orless than 60 catches, only one writer took the over.He is their top WR and is in sick shape, Jason La Canforawrote, explaining his pick of over. Hes ready to roll. As long as Alex Smithcan get him the football, Moss will be a key cog for the 49ers attack. He willbe their top producer (besides tight end Vernon Davis) and I bet is in positionto parlay it into a bigger deal next year. The other writers were less optimistic on Moss chances. Forreasons including Smiths ability to get him the ball, the 49ers run-firstoffense, his age and his ability to maintain motivation for a complete season, each of the seven other writers said Moss would fall short of 60 catches.Senior NFL blogger Will Brinson took the harshest stance, questioning whether Moss would get even 16 receptions.Moss last had more than 60 receptions in 2009 when he hauledin 83 for the New England Patriots. His total dropped to 28 receptions in 2010.Wide receiver Michael Crabtree and Daviswere the only 49ers receivers to top the 60-catch mark last season, grabbing 72and 67 balls, respectively. The next highest total was Kyle Williams 20receptions.
