ANAHEIM -- The A's activated reliever Michael Wuertz from the disabled list Monday and optioned Bobby Cramer to Triple A Sacramento.

Weurtz was placed on the DL on April 6 with a left hamstring strain. He made four rehab appearances between Single-A Stockton and Triple-A Sacramento and posted a 15.75 ERA. His most recent rehab appearance was Saturday for Sacramento and he retired all three batters faced, two by strikeout.

Cramer's last appearance for the A's came nearly two weeks ago against Detroit. The 31-year-old was 0-1 with a 2.45 ERA in three relief appearances.

Tyson Ross was called up when Wuertz was placed on the 15-day DL.
