Super Bantamweight World Champion Ana 'The Hurricane' Julaton is onto her next career venture: MMA (USATSI)

In her professional mixed martial arts debut, San Francisco's Ana "The Hurricane" Julaton defeated Egyptian kickboxer Aya Saeid Saber via TKO in the third round of their bout at ONE Fighting Championship: Rise of Heroes in Manila, Philippines early Friday morning.

For those who have followed Julaton's illustrious boxing career, it was no shock that the Bay Area native won in the fashion she did. In the final round's opening minute, Julaton unleashed a barrage of punches that forced the referee's stoppage.

The victory didn't come easy, as Saber used an array of leg kicks and takedowns to keep Julaton at bay. Eventually Julaton, who relied heavily on her boxing, closed the gap and got the finish.

Picking up her first MMA win in front of the Filipino crowd in Manila will be a memory Julaton will cherish and build off as her new career takes form.
