SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 13, 2014) – Comcast SportsNet (@CSNAuthentic), the home of “Authentic Bay Area Sports,” will provide in-depth, comprehensive San Francisco Giants and Oakland A’s Cactus League coverage beginning Friday, Feb. 14 and will continue throughout spring training, with live reports from Arizona on SportsNet Central, Yahoo SportsTalk Live and complete online coverage on CSNBayArea.com/CSNCalifornia.com. The network’s spring training news coverage is presented by Mountain Mike’s Pizza. Additionally, the network will air five spring training games (three Giants and two A’s).

The network’s signature news shows, Yahoo SportsTalk Live (@YSTL, airing Monday-Friday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.), hosted by Jim Kozimor (@CSNKoz), and SportsNet Central (@SNCAuthentic, airing seven nights a week at 6 p.m., 10:30 p.m., and midnight), will provide daily, live reports from Phoenix with A’s reporters Kate Longworth (@KLongworthCSN) and Joe Stiglich (@joestiglich) and from Scottsdale with Ahmed Fareed (@AhmedFareedCSN) and Giants Insider Andrew Baggarly (@CSNBaggs). The shows will also feature player updates and progress reports, interviews with players, front office staff and local and national baseball experts, and news from around Major League Baseball. Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 18, SportsNet Central: Raising Arizona, a live half-hour show with the latest Giants and A's developments and analysis, will air Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, with replays that evening (check local listings).
