They also stoppedStanford's eight-game winning streak at Maples Pavilion.Jeremy Green had 13 points and JoshOwens added 12 points for the Cardinal (10-6, 3-2), who were coming offan upset of No. 17 Washington and looking to sustain some momentum.Instead, they had another letdown.Stanford had two late attempts toforce overtime but couldn't convert. Owens missed the second of twofree throws with 7 seconds remaining, and Green's desperate 3-pointheave at the buzzer rimmed out to give Washington State the victory.
