Derek Jeter diagnosed with Grade 1 quadriceps strain, won’t play before All-Star break

Derek Jeter injured his quadriceps yesterday in his first game back from a broken ankle and general manager Brian Cashman just provided an update on his status. Jeter has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 (which is the lowest level) quadriceps strain and will not play this weekend. According to Cashman he’ll be evaluated further…
