OAKLAND, Calif. -- Warriors guard Monta Ellis missed the team's morning shootaround on Monday because he was a little bit under the weather. Coach Don Nelson said he expects Ellis to play tonight when the Warriors take on the Cleveland Cavaliers, however.
Nelson gave Ellis the day off from Sunday's practice, and the Warriors didn't practice on Saturday. We'll see if not touching a ball since Friday night will have any effect on Ellis, averaging 26.1 points per game.Forward Anthony Randolph, who injured his left ankle during Friday's game against the Sacramento Kings, was scheduled to have an MRI Monday afternoon. The team hopes to have an update on Randolph's injury tonight.Although plenty of Warriors figure to get a shot at guarding LeBron James, it appears as though Corey Maggette will get first crack at him. Still, expect Anthony Morrow, Cartier Martin, Vladimir Radmanovic and even Ellis to be in the mix at some point.Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle Corp., is expected to be sitting courtside at tonight's game. Ellison, one of the richest people in the world, has long been rumored to be interested in buying the Warriors. He has never attended a game at Oracle Arena.-- Matt Steinmetz
