Brian Wilson's black beard very quickly became a cult phenomenon in the Bay Area.

On Thursday, Virgin America unveiled the latest addition to its aircraft fleet -- Fly Bye Baby -- the Airbus A320 custom painted with Giants logos and -- you guessed it -- a beard clinging to the underside of the cockpit.

"As the only airline headquartered in San Francisco, we're thrilled to renew and expand our partnership with our hometown team," said Virgin America President and CEO David Cush in a release. "Our success as an airline is a credit to the outpouring of support we have received from the Bay Area community."

Fly Bye Baby is set to make its maiden voyage on April 2.

Virgin America -- the official airline of the San Francisco Giants since 2008 -- is now the sponsor of AT&T Park's Club Section, as promoted by the new airplane decals. They are also offering a 20 discount on flights for Giants season ticket holders and Giants video coverage as in-flight entertainment.

If ever you had a fear of flying, this could be the plane for you.
