Enzo Hernandez, who was the Padres’ starting shortstop from 1971-1976, reportedly committed suicide Sunday at age 63. Venezuelan newspaper Sunday Leader reported that Hernandez was found dead in his home in El Tigre and had apparently been struggling with depression for the past year.
