Former Sharks defensemen Ian White and Kent Huskins agreed to contracts with new teams Saturday.
White, 27, agreed to a two-year, 5.75 million contract with the Detroit Red Wings, while the 32-year-old Huskins, an unrestricted free agent, earned a one-year, 1 million contract with the St. Louis Blues.

Both deals were announced on Saturday, just the second day of the NHL's free agency period.
The Sharks on Friday signed defenseman Jim Vandermeer and GM Doug Wilson had previously stated that it was unlikely White would return to San Jose.
