Giants' Ross exits game with hamstring strain

Giants outfielder Cody Ross left Monday's game against the Padres early with a mild left hamstring strain.Ross ranged down the left-field line to catch a shallow fly ball in the top of the sixth inning and was noticeably in pain after making the catch. Ross drew a full-count walk in the bottom half of the inning, but was replaced by a pinch-runner.Ross started the year on the disabled list with a calf strain and is batting .273 in 67 games with the Giants this season.
