Dan Runzler will get the start for the Giants Sunday, Bruce Bochy announced in his postgame press conference Saturday.

Jonathan Sanchez twisted his left ankle while fielding a bunt against the Braves on Aug. 16 and left the game in the third inning.

News broke on Saturday that Sanchez would be unable to make his start, but the Giants did not announce his replacement until after their 7-5 loss to the Astros.
