A variety of media outlets are reporting that former Bradley basketball coach Jim Les has been hired at UC Davis.

Les, whose son Tyler is a freshman guard for the Aggies, will replace Gary Stewart, who stepped down by mutual agreement in March. Les' son, Tyler Les, is a freshman guard at the school.

The news was first reported Thursday morning on Twitter.

The Aggies finished 10-20 overall, and 4-12 in the Big West Conference last season.

Les spent the past nine seasons as Bradley's head coach. The university released him in March 2011. He lead the Braves to a 12-20 finish last season.

Les led the Braves to the Sweet 16 run in 2006. He also led Bradley to an NIT berth in 2007.

Fox Sports initially reported the news.
