SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 12, 2013) – Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, the home of “Authentic Bay Area Sports,” announced today its 2013-14 Golden State Warriors coverage, which includes 78 games (76 regular season, 2 preseason) featuring a live preseason game from Shanghai, China against the Los Angeles Lakers; extensive game-day coverage with Warriors Pregame Live and Warriors Postgame Live; season-long, comprehensive Warriors news, analysis and insider reports on SportsNet Central and Yahoo! SportsTalk Live; and in-depth 24/7 online coverage on CSNBayArea.com’s “WarriorsTalk” page.

Comcast SportsNet’s coverage of the 2013-14 Warriors begins with preseason games against the Sacramento Kings at Oracle Arena on Monday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. and a special live telecast from the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China versus the Lakers on Friday, Oct. 18 at 4:30 a.m. PDT.  The Warriors-Lakers game will re-air later that evening at 7:30 p.m.

The network’s regular-season schedule tips off with the Warriors’ season opener against the Lakers on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. from Oakland.  Covering all the Warriors games on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area will be the veteran announcing team of Bob Fitzgerald and Jim Barnett, along with sideline reporter Ric Bucher (@RicBucher) for home telecasts.
